I strongly object to the proposed development at Hatton Settlement (B1) due to its impact on the Green Belt, increased traffic congestion, and strain on local road and rail infrastructure. This large-scale development would damage the rural character of the area, harm biodiversity, and set a dangerous precedent for future Green Belt loss. The proposal is premature, lacking proper assessment of alternative sites and sustainable planning principles. Protecting Hatton’s countryside and ensuring responsible, well-planned development elsewhere should be a priority. I urge the planning authorities to remove B1 from consideration in the South Warwickshire Local Plan.
