Southam Town, District and County representatives support in principle but should go further in removing barriers to EV adoption for residents havng no on-site parking by:
1) in new developments specifying that EV charging provision be made at designated shared parking areass and
2) for existing properties, easing planning consents for installation of safe routes from dwelling to road for charge cables (e.g. approved channels across foot paths).
