This area is currently saturated with homes and could not sustain either an influx of people or the associated traffic. This bucolic area deserves to remain true to its historic purpose and beauty. It doesn’t deserve to be scarred by the blot of housing estates. The designs of new homes today are not compatible with the Stratford we love and which visitors flock to see. The road infrastructure could not accommodate the traffic of 5,500 new dwellings and the pollution would be detrimental to all.
