New settlements are supported as a way of delivering the scale of housing needed in the plan.
However, the New Settlement Assessment relies, and appears to put excessive weighting, on land availability; resulting in 4 sites as more suitable! Strategic Planning should be used to define the locations, size, and infrastructure needs, of new settlements which benefit South Warwickshire, then land accumulated to deliver it, not the other way around.
