1) Proposal doubles number of houses … far too many, really damages feel & amenity of area, & seems totally at odds with idea of New Settlements.
2) As designated in NDP, a strategic gap must be maintained between Alveston & Tiddington & Stratford & Tiddington too.
3) Current road infrastructure is inadequate so adding so many more houses will exponentially compound south-of-the-river congestion problem, particularly for Clopton Bridge bottleneck.
4) Potential new river crossing between Tiddington & Alveston ... very intrusive & vastly costly across flood plain & surely sensible option is west of Stratford, linking up to A46?
