I strongly oppose the proposed housing development at Hockley Heath (SG24) involving 5,000 homes, citing severe impacts on local infrastructure, flooding, loss of Green Belt land, and increased traffic. This development contradicts local planning strategies and threatens wildlife, community wellbeing, and the village's unique identity. Furthermore, Henley-in-Arden faces similar issues with insufficient infrastructure and services to support new housing, risking congestion and pollution. I urge the Planning Department to reject both proposals in favour of respecting local needs and character, ensuring any development aligns with community interests and sustainability.
