Spitfire Homes agree with the inclusion of Strategic Growth Location SG16, and consider that land should be allocated in this location because: (a) Wellesbourne is one of the most sustainable locations for growth; (b) SG16 is ideally situated to support planned employment growth within the Core Opportunity Area, MIS.8 and MIS.9; (c) SG16 lies entirely outside the Green Belt and should therefore be prioritised; (d) SG16 continues the established patterns of growth south of Wellesbourne; (e) Wellesbourne Wood will contain and mitigate the impact of development; (f) The Sustainability Appraisal confirms that SG16 is more sustainable than SG15.
