Rosconn Group consider that whilst the principal focus of the document is on new settlements and strategic growth locations, it will be essential that small and medium sites (up to 50 dwellings) are also allocated within Part 1 to ensure a deliverable supply of housing sites are available within the first 5 years of the Plan period in order to maintain a 5 year housing land supply. Such sites should be focussed adjacent to larger settlements and within the Priority Areas, these being the most sustainable locations where a good range of services, facilities and employment already exist.
