My main objection is that the main area for the proposed new houses WILL & DOES FLOOD. This could be devastating for Shipston and the communities down river. Our infrastructure is poor, bear in mind the problems caused by the new housing on the Campden Road. Shipston is a pleasant market town, overdevelopment and urbanization would be very detrimental. In addition we have lost our police station, our fire station, our hospital, v soon our last bank, and yet we are expected to welcome an enormous amount of new houses. It makes no sense. BUILD ON BROWN FIELD SITES.
