Both the environmental/biodiversity impact of this proposal is immense. The strain on the local road and rail infrastructure should rule this development out immediately. With no local centre of any size dependency on the car would increase for social, domestic and work purposes as would isolation for those without vehicles. There is only one main road that all this traffic could use with travel between Birmingham and Stratford becoming nightmarish. The potential for flooding with natural soakaways being built upon is inevitable. Without a change in the law to abolish the right to buy, affordable housing will inevitably be temporary.
