Any planning proposal for the countryside south of Tanworth in Arden threatens important green belt land and wildlife habitats. This area, valued for its natural beauty should be protected. Development here would harm local wildlife and negatively overwhelm infrastructure of the ancient village community. The SWLP should prioritise brownfield and greyfield sites or even areas of flat land that do not provide an aesthetic or environmental benefit, instead of irreversibly destroying beautiful areas of countryside. It is important to preserve the beauty and wildlife of this area for the health, wellbeing and enjoyment of the local community and future generations.
