The release of 100ha from JLR appears plausible for reallocation recognising the development designation in place saving the need to look for other virgin land in the area. However,J12 appears to have attracted greater volumes than expected with traffic from local roads towards the junction. Poor transport integration remains challenging, the strategy should be to align freight over rail and utilisation of the DIRFT Hub and exploit land opportunities closer to the hub and Coventry Airport
