It is part of the Forest of Arden Special Lanscape Area & should be protected to maintain the views from Kenilworth Castle. Houses built would significantly impact the Setting of the Castle a Grade 1 Listed building,as they would be seen from the castle.. The area is on clay & there is significant surface water.This floods the fields,flows into the roads, the water from the old brickworks flows into an underground culvert into Rouncil Lane.The fields produces arable crops regularly including Barley. There are Veteren Oaks, old hedges which are maintained. The wildlife regularly seen include Barn Owls,Yellowhammers, Skylarks,Tree Sparrow,Hares
