I believe the proposed development is excessive for Shipston. You are doubling the size of the town, there are no large employers so residents will have to travel for their employment. At present approximately 1500 cars leave every day so it would suggest upwards of 3000 would leave and return daily. The town at present has difficulty dealing with it's present traffic. The supermarkets are poor, previous applications for new supermarkets have been turned down. The proposed change to the re-cycling centre will cause fly tipping. I believe development should occur where there is already industry to absorb the workforce
