A massive increase in housing, removal of green areas and important natural habitats would completely alter the character of the village and affect the mental and physical welfare of residents putting more strain on local health providers.
The village is also prone to flooding and station road is not connect to mains sewage. The Mary Ardens House\Palmers Farm tourist attraction is of great value to Wilmcote with no other Shakespeare properties offering an agricultural learning centre. It’s removal or enclosure within housing developments would be of great detriment to the villages unique character.
