MAIN point why Shipston is unsuitable :
- little local employment, no nearby employment centres, and communications to distant employment centres are poor.

Many other reasons include:
- River floods. Frequently. Only Bridge is ancient and already inadequate;
- Insufficient infrastructure. Sewers already failed horrifically with recent housing development. Schools/Dentist/Doctors all full. So-called hospital will have no beds. Police and Fire stations closed. The last bank branch in Shipston is closing.
- No trains. Inadequate buses. Not enough parking.
- All through traffic has to use the gyratory – which is already too small for larger lorries and buses
