I believe the proposed development will destroy historic Wilmcote village due to its size. The land here already suffers from flooding and this will worsen due to water run off. Local infrastructure will not be able to sustain the numbers of houses proposed & valuable natural habitats will be destroyed. There is already significant traffic congestion on the A3400 and the A46 & it won’t take many more vehicles to result in gridlock. In addition to effect on Wilmcote, tourists will also be put off visiting the area and locals will avoid Stratford.
