Inappropriate development of green belt. Development would destroy the character of the area, sparsely populated becoming overdeveloped, ruining views including from the canal, road, public footpaths and train line. Woodland and fields inhabitated by foxes and dear would be lost. Their is insufficient infrastructure (shops, schools, nuseries, doctors) and local highways already struggle with volumes of traffic. Outages to water supply and issues with drainage already exist prior to additional burden. The propsal is for a small town too close to an existing town already low on local amenities. Traffic would impact at least nine local villages negatively and forever.
