Detrimental on area. Does not meet criteria of transport corridor.
• Train facilities limited. Commuter trains; Birmingham 3, Warwick 1.
• No station parking at Bearley/Wilmcote.
• Increase road travel.
• Henley in Arden to north is already a bottleneck.
• Vehicles travelling west will use rural roads to avoid A46 congestion; would travel through villages
Stated objective; ‘Residents and Communities’:
“We will act in the best interest of our communities………….. understanding their needs to make responsible decisions”
Development neither meets criteria nor is it in the best interest of communities the Councils seek to serve.
