Shipston is highly susceptible to increased flooding risks that includes proposed building sites.
The current sewerage system is already over capacity.
Shipston has no train station, and infrequent bus services to major towns. Bus takes more than 30 mins to reach Stratford or Banbury.
The High school is already over subscribed and has no 6th Form.
Health services are currently inadequate for the existing population, never mind an increase.
Proposed land includes the recycling centre (Ref: 552) which is key in reducing environmental impact.
Shipston has a small town centre with very limited parking and no
space for expansion.
