The landscape and visual impacts would cause irreversible damage to scenic beauty and ecological integrity, leading to biodiversity loss. Additionally, the infrastructure is inadequate for increased traffic, posing safety risks and pollution concerns. Previous proposals have been rejected for similar reasons, and approval would set a dangerous precedent for further green belt loss.
