I object to the proposed New Settlement location in the South Warwickshire Local Plan on several grounds. The development fails to demonstrate very special circumstances to outweigh the harm to the Green Belt, reduces its openness, and encourages urban sprawl. It would cause significant ecological damage, impact traffic and infrastructure negatively, and strain local services already at capacity. The irreversible destruction of natural ecosystems and the lack of assessment for brownfield land use are concerning. Approving this would set a precedent for further Green Belt loss, contradicting previous decisions made to protect it.
