The outdated Housing and Economic Development Needs Assessment (HEDNA) should be updated to reflect current demographic trends, and the true housing need must be thoroughly assessed. Long Itchington is identified as a sustainable location for additional housing growth, with necessary services available. Therefore, the site north of Leamington Road should be allocated for residential development in the South Warwickshire Local Plan.
