This would have a huge impact on the character of the green area that separates Barford from the southern expansion of Warwick and Leamington destroying trees and hedges and impacting the historic Warwick Castle Park which is immediately to the north. The A452 route into Warwick is already extremely congested at peak times and the road to/from Barford is regularly used by high traffic volumes as a 'rat run'. There is already insufficient infrastructure in this area in terms of road capacity, schools, doctors, sewerage system, hospitals etc. Development of this site would exacerbate all these problems.
