Development at this location would destroy valuable farming land, impacting on the rural character of the green area that separates the village of Barford from the huge new developments which already exist to the south of Warwick and Leamington. The A452 route into Warwick is already badly congested at peak times and the road to/from and through Barford already carries high traffic volumes (drivers avoiding congestion on the M40 and other main routes). The services infrastructure in this area is already struggling to cope and development of this site would exacerbate all these problems.
