This site is in the green belt and if developed for commercial purposes will join Warwick and Leamington with Hatton Park.
This would contravene the purpose of the Green Belt:
• To check the unrestricted sprawl of large built-up areas;
• To prevent neighbouring towns merging into one another.

Development of the site would deprive residents of Warwick and Leamington the Health enhancing benefit of leisure. exercise and access to nature and the countryside.

The junction at Stanks Hill is already at capacity and there has already been extensive commercial development West of Warwick and south of Leamington.
