I strongly object to the proposed development at Fell Mill incorporating the recycling centre. It would encroach on a substantial area of the already small amount of green countryside residents can enjoy. Nearly 50% of this land is in Flood Plain zones 2 & 3. More frequently the bridge at Mill Street into Shipston is flooded and impassable and the B4035 into Brailes also becomes impassable due to flooding.
The loss of the recycling centre would increase environmental impact as residents may not be inclined to visit alternative centres further afield.
Shipston does not have the infrastructure for more houses.
