The Birmingham Road leading to Stratford and around the Bishopton roundabout already suffers from high density traffic. A significant development in this area will make it far worse. This is a main artery into Stratford and one of the limited routes into the town. Surely given the existing development on the road (I.e. housing and Maybird shopping centre), there are limited options to increase the traffic capacity from this direction.
This is also Green Belt land and contains areas at high risk for surface water flooding. We are fundamentally opposed to the concept of urban sprawl into the green belt.
