Area floods (zones 3 and 2). SWLP infrastructure report states flood prone sites shouldn’t be selected.
Current sewerage systems already overloaded.
Shipston has no train station and poor bus service; the increase in traffic (as car use will be essential) on singletrack roads will consequently risk safety.
Inadequate infrastructure, healthcare and other essential services already overwhelmed.
Site includes Recycling Centre (Ref 552), completely at odds with reducing environmental impact.
Shipston and Honington bridges are Heritage Assets (Grade 2 listed). They are singletrack and won’t be able to cope with the increased traffic volume.
