The most effective way to secure the delivery of Self and Custom Build (SCB) homes to meet identified needs is to allocate specific sites designed to cater for such homes. This will ensure a positively prepared plan which is effective and deliverable in accordance with NPPF tests of soundness 36(a) and (c).
