Wellesbourne has already accommodated large-scale housing development and has allocated planned housing for next 25 years. Scale of the planned development will be detrimental: * Rural area, therefore harmful to village status and community cohesion. *Character of landscape destroyed. Destruction of Green belt would harm wildlife and destroy vital farmland. * No infrastructure to accommodate scale of development particularly schools and healthcare . * No rail link, poor bus service. Major traffic impact: A429 already often blocked, housing would increased traffic plus proposed gravel pit and development of Innovation Campus. * Increased flood risk. * Impact on tourist appeal .
