Historic Warwick, is subject to planning policies aimed at preserving its character and preventing urban sprawl. This plan to develop an Industrial / Commercial site in the Green Belt on the edge of Warwick and within view of the town and surrounding villages would be in conflict with this and not protect Warwick's historic character, maintain its openness by controlling development and preventing sprawl.
The town is of significant historical value, governed by planning policies designed to protect its character. Policies which are essential for maintaining the town’s distinctiveness, ensuring its unique heritage remains safeguarded for future generations.
