Shipston has already been overdeveloped relative to its infrastructure, amenities and character. The proposed development is neither strategic or sustainable for these reasons:

Transport: Shipston has no trains, infrequent buses and the existing one-way system and single track bridge are already struggling with volume.
Flooding: Proposed Fell Mill Site is unsuitable and irresponsible - it is within flood zones 2 & 3 (area regularly floods/ fields are waterlogged) and Shipston/ downstream villages would become more vulnerable.
Amenities: Lack of green space would be further eroded by these proposals.

More housing would negatively impact quality of life & character of town.
