Green belt land should be protected. No exceptional circumstances justifying removal of green belt in accordance with NPPF. Other sites far more suitable.
Sustainability Report – SG04 is area with second lowest housing capacity yield of all spatial growth areas.
Local amenities already over-stretched (GPs, Dentists, Hospital).
Foul drainage already inadequate on Rouncil Lane.
Influx of traffic along unsuitable single road (Rouncil Lane) already used by articulated lorries from abattoir, also increased traffic flows from new housing site (Rouncil lane – sixth form).
Negative impact on landscape quality. Area has historical significance; important to keep views/openness across to Kenilworth castle.
