The inclusion of Fell Mill Farm and Leasow Farm (Sites 148 & 747) as a strategic growth location is fundamentally flawed. These sites lack essential infrastructure, with limited local employment opportunities, inadequate public transport, and severe traffic concerns already deemed “challenging.” Accessibility issues will only worsen with 1,626 additional homes. Furthermore, both sites lie partially within Flood Zones 2 and 3—posing significant flood risks. Has sufficient consideration been given to the long-term sustainability and safety of development in these areas? The proposed allocation is neither viable nor sustainable and should be reconsidered.
