Current road and rail network cannot cope
Increasing houses will just increase population pressures including more vehicles on roads / air and noise pollution / risk of accidents / speeding drivers etc / will drastically change the community life in the surrounding villages
Current GP / hospital services cannot cope - increasing population will make it worse
Increased flooding - currently a problem - will just get worse
Biodiversity will be destroyed together with trees, hedgerows and woodland along with valuable greenbelt
We have a responsibility to protect our greenbelt not destroy it
