The road network surrounding the area is not suitable for the current volume of traffic, let alone another 6700 + vehicles, the main roads are already heavily congested pushing more people to use the surrounding lanes and back roads which frequently flood and become impassable they are covered with crumbling tarmac and potholes. The train station is tiny with a poor train service with absolutely no parking, no room to expand due to the historical Mary Arden’s house and the canal. The building of the new town will have a detrimental impact on the historic village and Mary Arden house.
