Opportunity for large residential capacity, 3.6x that of South Kenilworth land
Despite this being partly green belt land, the development of HS2 in this area needs to be considered, as the environmental and landscape impact in this area is already present. HS2 also serves as a man made barrier to prevent Kenilworth and Coventry merging, while close proximity of this area to Coventry increases sustainability with good transport routes (including good university bus network) and employment opportunities.
The overall plan has not taken into account hs2 when assessing suitable areas and I believe this needs to be strongly considered.
