I cannot comment on if this should be allowed or not.
But what I can say is that if SG15 & SG16 are to be developed this would double at least the size of the Village of Wellesbourne.
I used to live there and still have connections and need to travel. I cannot see how the local roads will cope with this, especially the M40/A46 Junction which is already busy at the best of times.
