Historic Tiddington and Stratford cannot take anymore traffic and there is no space to improve roads and facilities for pedestrians and cyclists. Traffic from the M40 and along the Wellesbourne Road is already busy and dangerous with winding rural roads especially in the dark and in poor weather conditions. Travelling through Stratford is slow and the existing junctions at Clopton Bridge are inadequate with no room to improve without demolishing historical and private buildings.
