We do not agree with the proposals for the development of the Green Belt land designated SG06.

Green Belt has to mean something. It cannot be allowed to be picked up and put down at will. It concerns us that the gaps between settlements are fast diminishing which can only lead to urbanisation of our countryside.

This area is prime agricultural land. It is also an area enjoyed by many as access to countryside on their doorstep. Just as important, it is a thriving wildlife habitat which, now more than ever, must be protected.
