I therefore urge you to radically rethink the options. Why not use the Finham site which has extensive employment and transport possibilities. Alternatively, look at regeneration opportunities in towns. Brown field sites should be considered and more imaginative schemes thought up. Why not locate small housing developments around the District, thus taking care of the future housing needs of existing communities. The target number of houses could soon be met in this way without there being catastrophic effects on any community or on existing roads and services.
