(12.a & 12.b) This must include 'Allotments' in practice; they are most important particularly in a high density building plan. If it really does include them I would support this.

more research and consultation needed, more consideration should be given to protecting any areas of green environment

The area has a good number of open spaces that need to be preserved for for the use of the people of the district as a whole, with any attempt at 'commercial' exploitation for monetary gain, or for use by an 'exclusive' few, strenuously resisted. For example, the use of a 'public open space' for a golf course will keep the space open, but deny access to many.

Council is losing sight of its stated requirement 12.6 to protect green corridors and open spaces. Huge housing developments are a savage attack on these vital areas.

BW is please to see the reference to the canal within paragraph 12.2 as green corridors. PPS12 identified canals as part of the green infrastructure, which needs to be funded and developed to support development providing sustainable transport routes.
The canal infrastructure can contribute to new waterside developments to cater for healthier and active living by encouraging walking and cycling via use of the canal and adjacent leisure facilities.
Developer contributions from waterside developments can be secured to improve canal corridors, increase walking and cycling opportunities within the canal network, improvements and transport initiatives and create a link between town and country.

Obviously this will have to be developed alongside infrastructure proposals.

Certainly think Leamington Spa should retain as much as possible.
Why didn't you give page references for these questions?

No, the existing open space between Heathcote (Warwick Gates) and the village of Bishops Tachbrook should be retained and not used for housing development.
