Has the council already decided to approve the Taylor Whimpey site even though they refused last time and is this why the boundry is being moved? Why arent our playing fields being left in the boundary?

Why is our village boundary being changed at all. but even if it needs changing, why are you changing it to include the taylor whimpey land? Has the council already decided that it was wrong when it refused their application last year and decided that it is going to approve the current one? That does not sound like we in the village are being given any choice which i thought this consultation was about.

Also, why are our current playing fields being excluded in favour of the nursery site? The playing field is where my grandchildren play with their friends and is part of the village. This doesnt make sense to me.

The Village boundary has been moved to include the areas of proposed development. These seem to be slightly inconsistent and I propose that the following additions be made to enable further small developments to be facilitated.

Changing the village boundary does not mean that the land will be developed. It will though infer that land outside the village boundary will NOT be developed.

-When a settlement has been fortunate enough to be relived of its horrendous traffic congestion by the construction of a by-pass, it is so easy to avoid any other constructive things and call the new by-pass the new village boundary. This village has character and to have a western boundary demarcated by a long sweep of tarmac completely destroys that character.

-The bulge in the boundary to the east of Dugard Place in order to accommodate the extended garden of one house is anomalous.
-It might also create an undesirable precedent for back land development and encroachment on the open rural area.
-The boundary should be set nearer the houses and on the same line as all of the other back gardens.

-In any event, in the case of Barford the settlement boundary makes no practical sense. Indeed, it seems to have been designed specifically to exclude Barford House and out clients' land.
