Ymatebydd: Mr Ben Davis

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

None of the sites identified are suitable.
I do not consider "exceptional circumstances" have been demonstrated to justify the building on green belt land.
Access to the village is restricted by a single lane low railway bridge or through Hampton on the Hill.
Also why have you acknowledged strong opposition from Hampton Magna residents in the previous consultation but then proceeded to identify sites anyway. What is the point of a consultation if our views are to be ignored?

The reasons for discounting the 5 sites equally apply to the preferred site.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Hampton Magna has a good school, church and facilities and needs more housing to be sustainable in the long term. There is an old persons home.

The same reasons for rejecting option 2 apply to the preferred option.

The rejection of option 6 is flawed.

Ymatebydd: Mr & Mrs Robert Glover

Asiant : Savills (L&P) Ltd

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Respondents suggest Site 4 as the preferred option. Land West of Stanks Farm was originally submitted for a ten acre site providing 100 houses. The updated master plan includes eighteen acres and provides the 150 houses the village requires. They are prepared to open up the private bridge over the A46 as a public right of way. Transport access would be via Old Budbrook Road. They are due to enter into an option agreement with a PLC house builder to provide further evidence on ecology, landscape, highways and drainage.

Ymatebydd: Centaur Homes

Asiant : Turley Associates

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Centaur Homes object to the discounting of Site 6 and suggest that it becomes the preferred or additional option because:
-It comprises of land which is partially developed. The land could be removed without impacting the fundamental aim of Green Belt policy.
-It would protect agricultural land elsewhere and remove the highway depot which has a negative visual impact and creates numerous lorry movements.
-It has clear defined boundaries.
-Traffic movements would not be concentrated in one area.
-Hampton-on-the-Hill could potentially be connected with the village of Hampton Magna.
-A Site Promotion Document has been provided detailing their site proposal.

Ymatebydd: Roger Mills

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Sites 4 and 6 should not have been discounted. They should become preferred options for the following reasons:

Site 4
-Is close to the main settlement.
-Would have low landscape impact with appropriate screening.
-Would have low ecological impact
-A natural permanent boundary exists.
-Close to railway
-Traffic would not pass through the village.
-Residential impact would be low.

Site 6:
-Would have minimal residential impact.
-Natural screening is present.
-Good/safe access can be achieved.
-The site conforms to existing policies (LDF/LP;Rural Area policies)
-Low landscape impact despite WDC primarily discounting the option for its location within a sensitive landscape.

Ymatebydd: Mr Robin Unitt

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

-Site 5 was eliminated because of residential impact but it similar to that of Site 1. The Site needs to be reconsidered and reassessed.
-Site 4 has not been considered equally against others. The residential and landscape impact would be low compared to the preferred site. Traffic congestion and road safety would be less instructive and living close to the station would possibly attract professional people.
-Site 6 needs looking at again. The residential impact would be minimal as natural screening exists. It conforms to many of the existing police in the LDF and those in the Local Plan.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

-The landowners of Site 5 objects to its exclusion as an area for future development at Hampton Magna.
-The landowner would like to promote the site for development as development represents the logical rounding off of the settlement.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Site 4 has not been considered equally against others:

-The statement that the site is detached from the main settlement is not true. It is close to the school, park, and main village to the south west verging on Hampton-on-the-Hill.
-Landscape impact would be relatively low.
-Low impact on wildlife compared to other sites.
-Site has natural permanent break from further expansion.
-Low residential impact as land falls away from existing housing.
-Close to the train station - attract professional people (quoted a reason for expansion).
-Reduce dangerous traffic flows as vehicles would not travel along estate roads.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Site 6 has not been equally considered against others:

-Residential impact would be minimal due to position and outlook of existing houses.

-RAP1 states that development should be permitted on previously developed land, which Site 6.

-The report of landscape impact is incorrect - there is natural screening from the main road so impact on landscape views from the village and Old Budbrooke Road is very little.

-There is good access off the main road to the site.

-To the West there are no towns within close proximity which would prevent the site from merging with Warwick.
