Absolutely, local people need homes , affordable homes , whether they are built by housing associations or indeed council owned , I also feel council houses should not be sold off cheaply ,

The Gypsy Traveller community appear to be able to construct ample sites for their own use (text redacted) This need to be addressed as a priority and the genuine needs assessed.

I get the concept of moorings for canal boats. But I am not sure it is clear enough about transit sites for caravans and now those sites will not become permanently occupied sites.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Where there is high demand for new housing, sooner or later there will inevitably be high demand for sheltered accommodation and care homes - in those new communities. Therefore homes planning for new communities should include provision/capacity for care homes and other types of supported housing, to allow for people who grow to be part of their community to not have to face relocating elsewhere when the time comes to require care - with all the distress and uncertainty than can involve.

The policy is incorrect and will lead to deprivation, inequality and unsustainably of the residents who end up living in the wrong development. Bearley Wilmcote site is not a viable option.

Affordable & social houses should be built at the same time as the full market value house. Developers leave them to the end and then claim there is no money left for them and get away with it. Their legal pockets are deeper than the councils so they tend to win. Get it right and written in the planning permission.

The large majority of housing in the area is rentals, the people using them are being charged extortionate amounts, it is not a local community anymore. We do not need more housing, utilise the current housing correctly first

A home isn't just the house that you live in - it is where your children go to school, where you go when you are sick, where your weekly shop comes from, the local takeaway that you use on a special occasion, the friends you meet in the local park, etc, etc.

Where are the considerations for all the additional infrastructure to support these new homes? Our local schools, hospitals, doctors, dentists, libraries, parks and everything else are already buckling under the strain of the number of people they need to support. Without new infrastructure we cannot have new homes.

I would like to see more provision of dwellings suitable for those in the population wishing to downsize but wanting to remain in their local community: by this I mean 2 bedroom houses and/or apartments; bungalows; sheltered accommodation and care facilities, including dementia care. This would free up larger homes to accommodate those with young families.
