Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

1) As "Growth" is fortuitously mentioned first must we assume that the Objectives are in descending order of importance? If not, what relative weight will be given to them - if there is a conflict between two or more?
2) Re the need for sustainability why is there no mention of rail in Objective 3 or statement that further development of the existing lines would be desirable? The line via Henley and the main line south through Warwick could be extended to Long Marston and beyond and there is an existing spur to Kineton/Gaydon with good access north and south.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Our neighbouring local authority has already built up to the county line. It is relying on Warwickshire to avoid urban sprawl through us maintaining our Green Belt protection. None of the Northern cluster of proposed sites SG22, 23 or 24 should be developed until other options outside Green Belt have been exhausted elsewhere in South Warwickshire.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

It needs the addition of a clear statement that the Green Belt north of Henley will be protected at all costs. New settlements or expanded existing settlements will only be considered when all available sites elsewhere have been exhausted.
Given the proximity of Redditch, Bromsgrove, Birmingham and Solihull, the need for more and more houses must not override the avoidance of urban sprawl that this part of Green Belt provides.

A2 South of Tanworth/ A1 East of Wood End / C1 South of Kingswood (Lapworth)
All these sites are in very open countryside and Green Belt. Tanworth village is a discrete Conservation Area. There is little existing infrastructure and that is already overstretched. All are in a unique part of the West Midlands Green Belt under extreme pressure from aggressively expanding Redditch, Birmingham and Solihull. The M42, the M40 and the two railway lines via Henley and Warwick may be superficially attractive to planners, but they are already represent threats to many of the other Strategic Objectives set out above.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

This is an existing development site capable of further expansion. A renewed financial case needs to be made for restoring the railway the few kilometres north to Stratford - thus providing through access to Birmingham and London via the existing line to Honeybourne.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

This is an already identified development area with local employment opportunities at JLR, etc and unsurpassed connections to the M40 and mainline rail through the existing spur to Kineton.
A financial case needs to be made to government and/or Great British Railways to build the few kilometres needed to reach Jaguar, improve the junction and build a new station. See Chiltern Railway's successful Project Evergreen to Oxford.
