Hill Residential has no objections to this policy, subject to any mix required reflecting the most up to date evidence and the policy being sufficiently ‘flexible’ to respond to any changes in the evidence base or the approach of affordable housing providers at any point after the policy adopted.

ill Residential does not object to the approach proposed by Draft Policy Direction 8, subject to any final policy building in flexibility for density ranges, which the draft policy indicates will be agreed through Design Codes.

Any overarching Design Code to be adopted by either of the councils should give a degree of flexibility to allow consideration on a site-by-site basis and to ensure it remains adaptable to a changing market.

Hill supports the SWLP vision and strategic objectives in principle, subject to amendments focusing on recognising the need for new settlement scale growth in the vision, Green Belt release being necessary to meet housing needs, and the plan being clear on infrastructure triggers for development. The proposals for 'Hatton Villages' can make significant contribution to vision and strategic objectives.
