We do not accept that there is either a greater need or that this would be sustainable. It could well destroy the character of the District.

Do you agree that the Council has identified all reasonable options for Infrastructure?
ID sylw: 33932
Derbyniwyd: 28/09/2009
Ymatebydd: Kenilworth Town Council
The infrastructure is of fundamental importance and we have grave concerns at the effect on Kenilworth. For development to be integrated at Thickthorn, there need to be road links with existing roads i.e. Birches Lane which in itself would cause serious congestion. Development will impose strains on all the services and infrastructure that would be required and this is contrary to need to build sustainable communities with less need to commute. Current sewerage system, schools & medical services are only sufficient to meet existing needs. Sports facilities would need to be replaced

The provision of open spaces, allotments etc is essential in any planning brief and should be enforced in any development.
