Destroying greenfield land shows no regard for the environment, existing wild life, air quality and well being of existing residents. In no way can this A2 be viewed as sustainable. Concrete, tar and bricks versus woods, fields and pockets of fresh air.

Absolutely not as it would not meet 'a well connected Warwickshire' as the A34, M42 and M40 tend to be saturated in the rush hour/busy 24:7. SG24 cannot be 'biodiverse', Ch11, will be destroyed. No way can it be 'healthy, safe and inclusive' with its location away from hospitals that are closing and have over capacity, poor medical provison, education and transport links (an hourly bus to Stratford). Noise and pollution spreading from the vehicle routes mentioned, removal of 'trees, hedges and woodland' for housing all add to increasing the carbon footprint and loss of biodiversity, compromising current wildlife.

SG24 is far too north of Stratford and Warwick and eats into farmland and woodland, that is currently used for leisure and sustains a wide range of birds and animals. Unfortunately it appears to go against the principles laid out in Chs 6,7, 9,10 and 11. Not only will it throttle the village, Hockley Heath environmentally with increased car fumes, it will worsen the already saturated medical, educational and refuse facilities. Hockley Heath suffers from traffic congestion, difficulties crossing A34, problems with power cuts and fluctuatng water supplies, flooding on the A34 and the appearance of sewage in some gardens.

The SG24 plan, covering 137.20 hectares, will significantly impact Hockley Heath parish by causing loss of light, increased noise, and destruction of arable land and woodland, further straining already inadequate infrastructure. Local roads are overcrowded, and flooding issues persist. I am saddened by the lack of technical evidence concerning the site's location. It threatens wildlife habitats and the well-being of residents. The plans do not address biodiversity loss or climate change and will exacerbate existing problems. Additionally, the infrastructure cannot support increased housing, leading to a detrimental car-based economy and loss of agricultural land.

I live in Hockley Heath and am deeply concerned about the SG24 plan, which proposes to add over 2,000 houses, significantly increasing our population. There are insufficient local services, with no surgery, pharmacy, or adequate school facilities, and traffic is already heavy. I question whether you have communicated with Solihull MBC regarding this plan, as local objections seem to have been ignored. If this development proceeds, Hockley Heath will lose its tranquil village character due to the overwhelming demand on limited amenities and infrastructure. I urge reconsideration of this proposal.

As a Green Belt Area, it should remain so. To develop on this particular site, would join up Hockley Heath with Dorridge & Lapworth, becoming one large conurbation. Hockley Heath doesn't have its own GP surgery, so residents of HH attend surgeries at either Lapworth & Dorridge, which are operating at full capacity. Lack of school places as HH doesn't have a senior school. The primary school only has capacity of 252 places. Services of water, electricity (which are already unstable) & gas are concerning, as is flooding. The current existing fields keep floodwaters from existing homes in the area.

The chosen areas are currently being farmed, used for pasture or planted with commercial trees. So used.
The area is prone to flooding . We live on the Stratford road and suffer from flooding. Severn Trent say large scale remedial work is required to resolve.
Recent huge developments over the border - Illshaw Heath/ Blythe Valley and Shirley . No schools or Doctors included in those. Putting huge stress on existing services.
Dangerous junctions at Old Warwick road / Statford road and School road without extra traffic.

Hockley Heath currently struggles from a lack of infrastructure to support even small additional developments. The village does not have additional health, schooling or community facilities to support a huge expansion which will turn the area from a semi rural village to a large housing estate with green areas minimised. A lack of green environment is bad for current and future residents. In addition, if housing is to be provided it needs to offer truly afforable housing for single people, blended families and older people. I suspect this will not be the case.

I strongly object to the proposal to build new houses in SG24 (Hockley Heath) for the following reasons:

1) The proposed site adjacent to Park View and the Aylesbury Road is green belt land. Residents in Hockley Heath including myself have historically purchased property in this location due to its rural nature. The proposed plans will destroy this.

2) The Stratford Road / Aylesbury Road junction is already gridlocked during peak times

3) The proposed plans will potentially depreciate the value of existing property. Will the council / government be compensating existing property owners in lieu of this?
